About Crafting Cove

Hi there!

I'm Ashley – an artist and a creator at heart. I have lots of hobbies, and it can be really hard to keep track of them. Crochet, macrame, friendship bracelets, doesn't matter; I want to do everything! This is why I created Crafting Cove – a way to collect all the amazing guides, tutorials, and ideas I could find so I (and you, of course) can easily access them at any time for no cost at all.

Crafting Cove is a collection of all things creative and crafty I can find. All of my guides are free – you don't need to pay to access them. You also don't need a membership, a tier, or anything else. While donating is always appreciated, it's not required. The only exception is downloading – to get a PDF or DOCX version of the guide, you need to pay a small fee. This fee helps me look for more guides, compile them, write articles, and basically keep the whole thing going!

Tutorials posted here are mostly written and created by me, but you might find ideas or projects inspired by or received from other artists and crafters. In this case, I will always leave a link to the original article or material, and I will definitely mention the author it belongs to. No craft should be stolen or taken without permission!

The journey is up to you, but the best way to get started is to look through my top articles, a few sections above this one. If you know what you're looking for (macrame, bracelets, crochet, knitting, or something else), you can browse by category. Check out the header at the top of the page to find my blog, categories, about page, or to search by a specific keyword.

How much does it cost to view guides?

Nothing - all guides can be viewed for free. Well, you still need an Internet connection, but otherwise, there's no cost. The only fee you might pay is for downloading a PDF or DOCX version of the guide. It's completely optional.

There are lots of other tutorials – why Crafting Cove?

As my close friend once said, 'You shouldn't avoid doing something just because a similar thing already exists. If I like art, having 2 artists to follow is better than 1'. There are lots of options out there, but they're still different depending on who the author is. Crafting Cove is a collection of tutorials I made myself or found the most interesting, which is why it will always have unique projects you won't find anywhere else.
